Harvest Celebration + Barn Raising

Join Sweet Water Foundation for a one-of-a-kind event!

Each year, we celebrate the bounty of the Perry Ave Community Farm's harvest and the close of another farming season. This year, we are excited to co-host our annual Harvest Celebration with the Smart Museum as part of a year-long collaboration, the Radical [Re]Constructions project.

On Saturday, September 23, will also make new history as we partake in a traditional barn raising and construct the Thought Barn.

The Thought Barn will be the first, ground-up architectural building developed by Sweet Water Foundation. The Thought Barn will bring a visual and performing arts, reflection, and community gathering space to the heart of the Perry Ave Commons. The story of Sweet Water Foundation’s Thought Barn is a story of healing and possibility through collective action, radical [re]construction, and the practice of Regenerative Placemaking.
